Class 2 Correction (Removable)
The Orthopedic Corrector is a jaw repositioning appliance used to move the mandible forward. It is typically used in more severe class 2 cases when the patient cannot initially protrude to full advancement. We have three types of Orthopedic correctors available at Johns Dental, each specifically designed to either correct a deep bite, close an open bite, or to simply maintain the vertical dimension while advancing the mandible.
