VIAZIS ™ LIGATING
-
(Maroon top) Standard Triangle Tie with elastomeric ligature
under both elbow side extensions. Best of both worlds: Friction
& Torque.
-
(Turquoise) Rotation Tie
Like Standard Triangle but with elastomeric tie under only one
elbow. May be adjusted for mesial or distal rotation. Place
ligature tie under the elbow on the side of the tooth which is rotated
toward the tongue, to pull that side out to the arch form. May be supplemented
with an .010 ligature wire.
-
(Blue) Inverted V, Not under Elbows
Stronger anchorage than Standard Triangle.
-
(Pink) Ligation For Maximum
Anchorage
An Inverted V with elastomeric tie under both elbows, shown with
optional ligature wire also under both elbows. uses
this for maximum anchorage during distal drive mechanics.
-
(Deep Green) Sliding Mode Pattern
Standard Triangle with elastomeric tie above both elbows. Lowest
friction for fastest free-sliding mechanics. (Also used when employing
the Cuspid or Bicuspid Vertical-Slot Power Hook Auxiliaries.)
