1. Using light tray wax (fig.1) the inserts are place in the
tubes(fig.2) in the patients mouth and picked up in a impression
2. Note the protruding posts from the Wilson
inserts(fig.3).
3. With a sharp scalpel, remove 3mm of impression
material, lingual to the posts for seating clearance.
4. Seat the 3D Transfer Lingual tubes on the protruding
posts. If necessary, contour the retaining tab of the 3d transfer
tube to insure retention in the stone model (fig. 2).
5. Add sticky
wax over the 3D® Lingual tubes and fill the space between the
tubes and impression material (fig 3).
6. Pour with stone and separate. The 3D®
Transfer Lingual tubes will be accurately positioned and securely
attached to the stone model.
7 Proceed to fabricate the 3D® appliance on
the stone model or send to the lab to have fabricated
6. Store the
model against future breakage and rescue the Inserts from the impression
material to autoclave.
