The Transverse expander from Johns Dental is a variation of the Schwartz appliance. The Transverse is designed with posterior occlusal coverage to minimize buccal tipping and accelerate the tooth movement. As with many of our orthodontic appliances, we offer several clasping options and acrylic designs as well as our 50/50 appliance replacement program.
