LATERAL EXPANSION (Fixed)
The Williams appliance is a great fixed appliance for increasing lower arch width and flaring incisors in early mixed dentition cases. The Williams appliance works best when at least 2 permanent lower incisors and the lower cuspids are erupted to allow bonding of the anterior Nitanium wire. An optional 7 mm wide screw is also available for narrower anterior cases. The Williams appliance was designed by Pedodontist Jeff Williams.
